Filled only with Super Badger Hair, the Emperor shaving brush is turned in three sizes of which this is the largest. It is a tall elegant brush with a total brush height of 115mm. Knot size: 21mm Handles continue to be individually turned on a lathe, polished and filled by hand using a knot of selected Chinese badger hair. With the proper care the brush should last for many years. Simpsons state that the density of hair in their shaving brushes means that a brush stand, for inverting the brush is not required.
